PRODUKTION UND PRÄSENTATION: ALLES IN EINEM RAUM TIMELINE
EDITION N°1 SOPHIA MAINKA: SHTF NATALIA JORDANOVA: THE CONSOLE DRAWING RESTRICT ABOUT CONTACT
ROSA STERN SPACE is an independent production and presentation space for contemporary art, which is used as an autonomous platform and interactive network beyond the logics of institutions and the market. Central to this is the examination of discourse, ideas and theories of space. Rosa Stern combines analog and digital exhibition formats. The interdisciplinary projects focus on technology, future-oriented contemporary issues and emerging in-between spaces. The promotion of art education, (inter)national networking and transcultural exchange is made possible through a series of artistic interventions and collaborations. The architecture and idea of Rosa Stern Space was developed as an artistic conceptual work by Rosanna Marie Pondorf and Simon Sternal in 2017. The facilities combine studios and an exhibition space as a participatory, artistic and discursive space for negotiation and encounter. In January 2020, Kalas Liebfried joined the studio community as a permanent member as well as a curator and organizer. Since autumn 2020, the team expanded to a total of 6 members, as Alexander Scharf, Josua Rappl, and Constanze Metzel joined the project.
